This trek is a reverse of
the latter part of the Annapurna
Circuit.The terk start from pokhara and
passing through some of the bast
mountain viewing sports,reaches the
kaligandaki valley.The walk up to
muktinath is then a rewarding feast for
the eye.Muktinath is one among the five
most important places of pilgrimage for
the Hindus.The famous temple of
Muktinath lies in the district of
Mustang.On the janaipurnima and ram
navami festivals devotees gather there
to pay homage to Muktinath, Lord of
Salvation. This is in Rain shadow (Trans
Himalayan) region semi-Tibetan cultural
experiences, holy pilgrimage site,
Buddhist society, pinnacle sceneries and
landscape,
stunning mountain views. Muktinath is one
of the more popular places preferred by
trekkers for an extanded hault while
doing the classic Annapurna circuit
trek.
