A major trekking
destination in western Nepal is Rara
Lake, located within the Rara National
Park. This trek, which is strenuous, offers
cultural sights, natural scenery and
wilderness very different from the other
part of nepal. Access to Rara lake is
from jumla, which can be reached by air
from Nepalgunj or by walking from
surkhet in western nepal.
